Tailored canine physiotherapy sessions to help your dog’s recovery and promote their physical health.
Canine physiotherapy sessions with Lauren are fully individualised to your dog’s needs. Lauren has had great success with many of her clients, but particularly with dogs who are nervous, anxious or have challenging behaviour. To help keep her patients relaxed, Lauren conducts all of her appointments in the home where the animal is most comfortable to ensure best possible outcomes.
During the initial assessment, Lauren will fully assess your dog statically, dynamically and physically to identify even the smallest of findings. Lauren will also conduct neurological and orthopaedic specialist testing to further assess your dog’s physical health. Key areas will be targeted with massage, McTimoney Chiropractic, fascial release, stretches and mobilisations to restore normal musculoskeletal characteristics. Lauren also uses electrotherapies such as heat, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMF), therapeutic ultrasound, TENS and NMES to aid in healing and pain relief. Depending on you and your dogs’ needs and goals, exercises can be discussed and given.
